│ TUTORIAL: Calendars │
└─────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
In this lesson you:
■ create a calendar for your company, showing
working hours, workdays, and holidays
■ work with the Calendar form and the
Calendar wallchart
───────────────────────────────────────────────────
Press Space bar><CMD>
<XFLD><Ctrl5><XFLD><ENDDEF><CMD><*1204
You're the first person at HiTech to use Harvard
Project Manager 3.0. You need to create a calendar
to show HiTech's work and holiday schedule.
Then HPM 3.0 can calculate dates correctly and not
plan tasks for holidays or non-working time.
After you create a calendar, HPM 3.0 automatically
saves it.
Later, you can use it again for other projects or
for a resource (and add individual vacation days).
You can also copy, rename, or remove it.
───────────────────────────────────────────────────
Press Space bar><CMD>
<XFLD><Ctrl5><XFLD><ENDDEF><CMD><*1204
When you create a calendar for your company, you
give HPM 3.0 the following information:
■ the number of years you want your
calendar to run
■ the length of your workday
■ the time your workday starts
■ the working days of the week
■ your company holidays
──────────────────────────────────────────────────
Press Space bar><CMD>
<XFLD><Ctrl5><XFLD><ENDDEF><CMD><*1204
Now you're ready to begin the lesson.
First, HPM needs to do a bit of clean-up work.
So just sit back for a moment, and wait for
the Main Menu....
